In Sahara, there is no set system of changing family names after marriage. If A has a sibling B willing to change their name, then A will not change theirs. Names mean everything to Saharans, irrespective of gender. After marriage, men willingly change their names, again, when they have siblings not changing theirs.
Hence, A’s child, if any, will have A’s family name, as does their spouse.
